People really have a silly mentality when they take a loss in spot trading and then suddenly shift to futures thinking they will recover their losses from there. Like, how does that even make sense?
Do you really think futures are easier than spot trading? In my opinion, futures are 10x harder than spot. It requires much more skill, discipline, and emotional control.
Use some common sense if you're already struggling to make profit in spot and you're in losses there, how will you make profit in futures? You'll most likely just multiply your losses in futures because of leverage.
This is NOT a method to recover losses. It's much better to pause and identify why you're losing in the first place. Maybe your trading strategy is not suitable for the current market conditions and you need to revise it.
Control your emotions - this is the biggest reason behind most losses. We can’t tolerate losing, and then we start rushing to recover it quickly. In that process, we end up losing even more.
Try to overcome your losses mentally first. Shifting to futures will not help you in any way. Identify the real reasons behind your losses and improve them.
Remember: Trading isn’t about revenge, it's about discipline and patience.
