I totally agree that futures are more difficult than spot, both to learn and to profit. However, from my own experience, I can say that I have a higher chance of making gains in futures than in spot.
Why? Because in spot, you only profit if the price of an asset goes up, and history has shown us that, in the long run, most assets tend to fall, many never recover their levels, and some even disappear. In contrast, in futures, I have the possibility to profit even when an asset's price goes down, and additionally, I can use leverage, something that does not exist in spot and that, if managed with discipline and strategy, can multiply profits far beyond what spot offers.
The difference is clear:
Spot is simpler and designed for beginners.
Futures is more complex, but it is also where the real opportunity to achieve superior and consistent returns lies.
That’s why I say that futures is not for everyone; it is for the best. Spot can be the entry point, but the true evolution of the trader and the greatest wealth creation are in the world of futures.
