In the $BOB community on Binance Square, I rarely see posts or comments that directly tell people to buy BOB.
This is a great sign, because it shows that the community is consistent in upholding the values of decentralized democracy.
I’m genuinely proud of the BOB community. They focus on building, sharing knowledge, and providing education about BOB—rather than pushing people to buy.
In contrast, I’m skeptical of communities where most of the content is simply “buy our token.” Often, it feels like those are coordinated efforts by the project’s own developers, creating accounts to promote their token while attacking others they see as competition.
But that approach goes against the spirit of decentralization.
What truly matters each day is delivering crypto education—not pushing people into FOMO or pressuring them to buy. If people are well-informed and see the value for themselves, you don’t need to invite them. They’ll make the choice to buy on their own.
Today, I see many new projects claiming “we are decentralized,” yet very few can actually show proof of real decentralization
