SoFi Technologies will become the first American bank to integrate the Bitcoin Lightning network and the Universal Money Address (UMA) system for international transfers.
In partnership with Lightspark, the bank will launch a new service later this year. The company will start with Mexico. The initiative will allow users to send funds directly through the SoFi app with low fees and high speed.
