Talk about what kind of strong coins to buy at the bottom

Many people have a mindset: to pick up the coins that performed the best during the pullback, hoping to catch a bigger rebound when the market recovers. The logic seems completely sound. But in reality, many people who follow this approach end up losing money. Why?

The key point is that when you buy, you need to distinguish the reasons for the decline: is it being dragged down by the overall market, or has this coin itself lost momentum and is just following the trend downward? The difference is significant. For example, suppose Coin A has previously risen by 50%, and then the upward momentum starts to weaken, even entering a high-level consolidation phase, and it just happens to encounter a market dump. Although the long-term K-line is still green, it has already weakened—spot buying can’t keep up, and subsequent increases mainly rely on contracts to support it. These kinds of coins may not necessarily recover even when the overall market warms up, and the rebound strength is usually quite limited.

In contrast, those coins that are in the process of rising, still have strong momentum, and are only passively pulled back because of the overall market, are the real strong coins. When the market hits the bottom and rebounds, they often explode first, and the rebound is usually much larger than that of regular coins, because the narrative and funds have not yet exited. Once the overall environment improves, they will continue to be propelled.

So it’s not wrong to buy strong coins, but you need to clarify whether they are genuinely strong or just pretending to be strong. The market has shown everyone countless times that many coins just lay flat after the pullback, while a few truly strong assets can take off directly.

Many friends ask whether a certain coin is a strong coin, whether it can be bought during a downturn, which coins to buy, and if they can buy them. For the time being, I won’t respond to these questions in the plaza. I cannot take responsibility for this, to avoid getting into trouble. I was criticized for analyzing the market trends yesterday, and I’m scared of being criticized.
