🇺🇸 WYOMING STATE LAUNCHES FRONTIER STABLE TOKEN (FRNT)

🔹 The state of Wyoming officially launched the Frontier Stable Token (FRNT) on the mainnet. This stablecoin is fully backed by short-term U.S. Treasury bonds and U.S. dollars, with a minimum reserve requirement of 102% as mandated by law.

🔹 FRNT is integrated on 7 blockchains: Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Polygon, Optimism, and Base through LayerZero, a cross-chain interaction protocol that facilitates token transfers between blockchains.

🔹 The mainnet is officially operational but not yet open to the public due to regulatory hurdles. Initial access is expected to roll out on the Kraken exchange in Wyoming with Solana support.

🔹 FRNT can be used anywhere Visa is accepted, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, making it available in both digital wallets and physical cards.

🔹 Wyoming officials emphasize that FRNT is a turning point in the state’s financial technology innovation, enabling faster payments to providers, instant tax refunds, and the implementation of online social welfare.

🔹 The program is also designed to generate revenue for the state of Wyoming, providing a budget to support public spending such as schools and community services.
