Santiment analysts reported that large Bitcoin holders (those holding 10-10,000 BTC) have resumed accumulating coins after the price drop of the first cryptocurrency. Since August 13, 2025, they have purchased over 20,000 BTC.
Experts added that since March 22, whale reserves have increased by over 225,000 BTC. According to analysts, there has been a clear correlation over the past five years between changes in the volumes of these wallets and the direction of the subsequent price movement.
At the same time, short-term holders $BTC are selling the asset at a loss for the first time since January. The company added that the last time such dynamics were recorded was during the deepest market correction in early 2025.
Analysts noted that such behavior usually has two development scenarios: a weakening of market momentum and the exit of speculative capital; a cleansing of the market from 'weak hands' and further price recovery.
