$BOB

Welcome to the Web3 era — a time for real decentralization, not outdated “to the moon” marketing gimmicks.

In this new age, there’s no room for lies or hidden agendas. Since I first spoke on Binance Square about the importance of decentralization and transparency in the $BOB project — which started as a Binance Intern initiative — I’ve noticed a shift. Suddenly, many meme coin projects are echoing the same ideas.

But here’s the catch: they still avoid discussing their smart contracts. Why? Because exposing the code would reveal how easily those tokens can be manipulated.

What’s funny is, I’m just an ordinary person. Yet the concerns I’ve raised are now becoming the very conversations these communities are forced to have.

Before, no one wanted to talk about decentralization — it threatened the control project owners had over price manipulation. But decentralization is about transparency, and without transparency, you can’t claim to be decentralized.

Educate your holders.

Teach them how to verify transparency.

Explain how smart contracts work and point out any potentially dangerous functions — don’t hide them. If there are custom functions, explain their purpose clearly and honestly.

Because in Web3, trust is built on transparency — not hype.
