They say that if you don't learn from history you will keep repeating the same mistakes. The current situation with Ukraine, Russia and the USA reminds me of a certain time in history where a third party declared "Peace in our time" after an agreement to scede land between two neighbouring countries was ratified in 1939.
We all know how that turned out!
No wonder the markets are bearish as digital finances are being traded for more physical assets.
