The category of tokenized assets includes currencies, treasury bonds, venture investments, and private equity. Analysts identified investment funds utilizing blockchain to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of financial instruments for a specific category of clients as the main factor driving market growth.

"The Ethereum network remains key for tokenized financial products and currently accounts for almost 55% of the entire market. All thanks to the mature ecosystem of smart contracts and the application of the ERC-20 standard," said Token Terminal specialists.

Currently, the largest tokenized assets on Ethereum are the stablecoins USDT and USDC, as well as the tokenized fund BUIDL from BlackRock, created together with the Securitize platform.

The interest of large investors in the tokenized asset market is showing growth, and crypto companies are increasingly transitioning from stablecoins to tokenized treasury funds due to their stability and profitability, explained representatives of Token Terminal.

Earlier, experts from the crypto observer CoinGecko reported that since 2024, the market capitalization of real-world tokenized assets (RWA) has increased by more than $100 billion.
