🇺🇦🕊️ ZELENSKY CLAIMS THAT UKRAINE IS WILLING TO FIND A "DIPLOMATIC WAY" TO END THE WAR

Since November 2024, Zelensky has repeatedly stated that he wants to end the war "through diplomatic means" in 2025. In radio interviews, he declared: "From our side, we must do everything possible to ensure that this war ends next year through diplomatic channels".

🤝 The Ukrainian position includes: unconditional immediate ceasefire, return of Ukrainian children taken to Russia, non-recognition of territories conquered by Russia, and freedom for Ukraine to join Western organizations like NATO.

But the reality is more complex: in June 2025, Putin refused to meet with Zelensky, calling his government a "terrorist regime". Russia demands that Ukraine cede 4 regions that it does not even fully control, demilitarize, and never join NATO.

🇺🇸 Trump promised to resolve the war quickly but tensions escalated. In February 2025, Trump and Vance publicly confronted Zelensky at the White House, accusing him of being "ungrateful" and a "hawk". Trump temporarily suspended military aid until Zelensky agreed to propose a ceasefire.

Zelensky says that Putin is not interested in real peace: "It is convenient for Moscow to sit down and talk while continuing to fight". Meanwhile, Russia is advancing in eastern Ukraine at the fastest pace since 2022. The "diplomatic way" exists more in words than in deeds.
