A single mistake can make you lose your entire balance in P2P trading. This is what recently happened to a trader in Pakistan.
What happened?
The trader posted his USDT on Binance P2P. The buyer immediately sent a fake payment screenshot and an SMS alert, indicating that the money had been transferred.
The seller checked the banking app and then released the cryptocurrency in panic.
After a few hours, I neither received the money nor found a buyer, and all the USDT had disappeared! 😱
Red flags 🚫
The buyer is pushing to 'release it soon'
Fake SMS with screenshot 'payment completed'
New account, no history or reviews
Offers that are 'too good' that cost more than the market price
I want to protect you ✅
Always confirm by logging into your bank's app (don't just rely on SMS)
Release the cryptocurrency tab when the money becomes visible in the account
Only deal with verified and well-rated traders
If you have any doubts → open an appeal immediately in Binance
In summary 🔑
Scammers always try to rush you and confuse you. Stay calm, double-check, and never release money without available funds.
One extra minute of caution can save you thousands of dollars.
