Driven by Ethereum exchange-traded products (ETPs), cryptocurrency investment products saw strong inflows last week.
According to a report from European crypto asset management firm CoinShares, global crypto ETPs attracted $3.75 billion in inflows last week.
Ethereum (ETH) price approached an all-time high last Thursday, with prices nearing $4,700 according to CoinGecko data.
Despite Bitcoin (BTC) price breaking $124,000 last week, BTC ETP performed flat, attracting only $552 million in inflows, accounting for about 15% of total inflows.
In comparison, Ethereum attracted $2.9 billion in inflows last week, indicating increasing investor interest in this altcoin ETP.
Solana (SOL) and XRP attracted $176.5 million and $125.9 million in funds, respectively, while Litecoin (LTC) and Toncoin (TON) saw outflows of $400,000 and $1 million, respectively.
Trading volume reached an all-time high
According to Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, last week saw a record high in spot crypto ETF trading volume.
The trading volume of Ethereum ETFs reached approximately $17 billion, setting a record.
NovaDius President Nate Geraci also noted the trading volume records of Ethereum ETFs.
