ChainCatcher message, on-chain data shows that an early Ethereum investor has, after more than ten years of silence, transferred 334.7 ETH for the first time, valued at nearly 1.5 million dollars.

This fund was initially discovered by Lookonchain and was purchased for only 104 dollars during the Ethereum initial coin offering (ICO) in 2014. Before transferring most of the funds, the investor made a small test transfer to a new wallet with no historical activity.

If liquidated at current market prices, this transfer represents a 14,000-fold return. This original wallet has had no activity since the ICO. The Ethereum ICO raised a total of 18 million dollars and officially launched in July 2015.
