Guangdong releases reward rules for the innovative development of AI and robotics industry, with a maximum single funding of 50 million yuan

Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, in conjunction with the Provincial Department of Finance, issued the (Implementation Rules for Fund Management Related to the Innovative Development of the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Industry). It specifies that for national-level manufacturing innovation centers, construction funding support will be provided in accordance with national support policies, with subsidy funds not exceeding 40% of the total amount for newly purchased R&D instruments and equipment (including supporting software, excluding tax), with a maximum of 50 million yuan for a single project. Specific reward projects include innovation capability construction projects for manufacturing innovation centers in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics, nurturing high-quality enterprises in artificial intelligence and robotics projects, promoting benchmark projects for new industrialization empowered by artificial intelligence, and operating projects for open-source communities and open-source ecological centers. These (Implementation Rules) will take effect from September 1, 2025, and will be valid until December 31, 2027.
