The Truth About Altcoin Season No One’s Telling You
Let me explain a big reality.
Everyone’s talking about altcoin season. Many predict it’ll start in September 2025, and some websites say this cycle could be longer with massive returns. Even big platforms like Coinbase, CoinMarketCap, and others are publishing analyses on its start.
Here’s the reality—big players are creating FOMO. And that FOMO is designed to wipe out small traders’ accounts.
The truth? Altcoin season is already over.
And I’m not saying this without research—I’ve done the homework.
By definition, altcoin season happens when altcoins outperform Bitcoin. Looking at charts:
From April 9 to May 22, Bitcoin gained 50%, while Ethereum gained 90%.
In the previous upward move, Bitcoin rose 10%, Ethereum jumped 40%.
This outperformance wasn’t happening before April—meaning alt season was already active and is now in its final phase.
Another proof comes from the Bitcoin Rainbow Chart, historically very accurate:
During 2017–2018 alt season, Bitcoin was above the rainbow chart.
Same pattern in 2021–2022.
Currently, Bitcoin is in an accumulation phase, not at extreme highs.
Based on this, I strongly believe altcoin season is over, no matter the hype.
