The first Bubblemaps hackathon has concluded, with three innovative projects leading the on-chain transparency revolution @Bubblemaps.io
The first hackathon organized by the #Bubblemaps Foundation was successfully held in August 2025, attracting over 300 teams from around the world to participate. Several innovative projects focusing on on-chain data transparency and governance optimization were ultimately selected. Here are the three highlight projects:
1. Cross-Chain Fund Tracking Tool "BubbleTrace"
The champion project "BubbleTrace" utilizes Bubblemaps' clustering analysis technology to develop a visualization tool for real-time tracking of multi-chain token flows. This tool can identify abnormal fund transfers in cross-chain bridging, such as revealing potential behaviors through asset flow path analysis between TON and Solana.
2. DAO Governance Risk Alert System "GovAlert"
This project integrates the governance function of the BMT token to provide dynamic voting power distribution monitoring for DAO organizations. It displays the correlation of the top 100 token holders through a bubble chart, allowing for early warning of "whale manipulation" risks, and has been piloted by organizations such as Gitcoin.
3. NFT Fraud Detection Plugin "BubbleNFT"
A plugin designed for the NFT market that automatically flags suspicious transactions (such as wash trading) by analyzing transaction clusters and shadow wallet activities. Its algorithm is based on the Squiggles NFT manipulation case previously revealed by Bubblemaps, achieving an accuracy rate of 92%.
This hackathon not only advanced the technical iteration of the $BMT ecosystem but also highlighted the community's demand for on-chain transparency. The winning teams will share a prize of $500,000 and receive technical support from Bubblemaps, with some projects expected to go live on the mainnet in the fourth quarter of 2025.
