【8 Years in the Crypto World: A Journey from Liquidation to Profit, Just Relying on These 3 Tricks to See Through Candlestick Charts】
Who understands? Eight years ago, when I first plunged into the crypto world, I was simply a "reverse operation master"..
I would open the platform and fixate on the 1-minute chart, seeing a red bar rise and frantically chase it, only to be crushed to the ground in less than 5 minutes ≥
1000-500-200-zero, staying up at night crying from liquidation messages until I shook, really doubting if I was born to trade ()
Later I realized: I wasn’t unable to read candlestick charts, I lacked a set of "chart reading processes"!
Only focusing on one time frame = driving on the highway with eyes closed, crashing is only a matter of time!
Today, I’m sharing the "Three-Timeframe Analysis Method" that helped me go from scared of losses to gradually stabilizing, new sisters hurry up and note this down!
+3 timeframes combined, like building blocks for trading:
① 4-hour chart = steering wheel ⑦ (first determine the overall direction!)
Open it up and look at the trend:
V Uptrend: Higher highs and higher lows, prioritize finding opportunities to go long
V Downtrend: Lower highs and lower lows, avoid going long
V Sideways: Don’t rush in, obediently wait for breakout signals
If the trend is chaotic, don’t do anything!
2 1-hour chart = map (find a good entry position)
After confirming the overall direction, switch to the 1-hour chart to draw support/resistance:
Previous highs and lows, platform levels, areas where moving averages cluster together •
These are positions that the market "remembers", draw the lines and just wait for the price to come~
3
15-minute chart = launch signal day (final confirmation!)
When the price reaches a key level, don’t rush in! Wait for signals on the 15-minute chart:
V Candlestick patterns: hammer/engulfing/doji
V
MACD golden cross/bottom divergence
BOLL band opening and direction change
Only enter when all signals align, otherwise keep waiting; it’s better to miss an opportunity than to make a mistake!
Don’t make the same mistakes I did:
X Only focus on small timeframes and chase wildly, ignoring the larger trend, stop-losses hurting your pocket
X Rush to enter without signals, relying on gut feeling for take-profits and stop-losses
X Blame luck for losses, never review where I went wrong
Trading isn’t that mystical! Making fewer mistakes is more important than getting everything right!
