BN Alpha Transaction, how much is appropriate to grind for? Let's talk about my thoughts ✅
This post focuses on the daily points grinding scenario (not involving trading competitions), combined with the exchange's BSC limit order 4x volume calculation rule, let's talk about the cost-effectiveness of points grinding options ✅
(Personal thoughts and sincere sharing, for reference only, do not constitute any investment advice)
I. 16 points vs 17 points: Core data comparison
First, look at the core differences between two common points grinding schemes (calculated based on a 15-day cycle): (See Figure 2)
Grind 16 points = Daily actual trading volume 16384 = 3.3u attrition = 240 for the entire cycle
Grind 17 points = Daily actual trading volume 32768 = 6.6u attrition = 255 for the entire cycle
II. The most cost-effective points grinding strategy
The current basic threshold for most activities is 200 points (first come, first served). Simply grinding for 16 or 17 points has limitations:
Grind only 16 points: 240 points accumulated in 15 days, but if 3-4 exchanges are made midway, leaving 195 points, it will be stuck outside the threshold;
Grind only 17 points: 255 points accumulated in 15 days, although it can cover the threshold, it costs an additional 49.5 U (equivalent to 1 airdrop).
✅ My better solution: 16 points × 10 days + 17 points × 5 days
Total points: 16 × 10 + 17 × 5 = 245 points, which can maintain the 200-point threshold after 3 airdrops (1 more airdrop);
Cost advantage: Saves 3.3 × 10 = 33 U compared to grinding only 17 points (about half an airdrop), but the effect is exactly the same.
III. The implicit value of 17 points
17 points are not without advantages:
10 more points in the cycle can participate in pre-tge activities that only deduct 10 points;
High scores can cover higher threshold "big score" activities (lower implicit opportunity cost). Once you seize it once, the return far exceeds the extra expenditure.
IV. Conclusion: Don't blindly follow suit
There is no absolute standard answer for points grinding. The core is to combine it with your own needs:
Pursue the lowest cost: Give priority to the combination of 16 points as the main and 17 points as the auxiliary;
If you want to cover high threshold opportunities: You can appropriately increase the proportion of 17 points.
