Ethereum Priority: SharpLink Stakes Nearly All ETH for Profit
Sharplink Gaming (Nasdaq: SBET) has become one of the largest holders of Ethereum (ETH), reporting 728,804 ETH in its treasury as of June 30, 2025. According to the Q2 report, this milestone comes just weeks after the company restructured its balance sheet around Ethereum as a key reserve asset.
The announced pivot in early June aims to provide shareholders with direct exposure to the growth of Ethereum, while generating returns through active fund management. Nearly 100% of Sharplink's ETH is now staked, earning a total of approximately 1,326 ETH to date.
Since the inception of this strategy, Sharplink has raised over $2.6 billion to fund the purchase of ETH. Its ETH Concentration Index, a measure of accumulation efficiency, has surged 98% in a few weeks, from 2.00 to 3.95.
The company has strengthened its leadership team with Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin as Chairman and former head of digital assets at Blackrock Joseph Chalom as Co-CEO. A strategic partnership with Consensys also positions Sharplink well within Ethereum's core development ecosystem.
Chalom stated:
“Our second quarter marks the exciting launch of Sharplink's ETH treasury strategy. In a short time since the launch of this strategy, we have expanded our ETH holdings in an extremely diversified manner. Sharplink has become one of the largest and most reliable ETH holders in the world.”
With a strong accumulation and staking plan, Sharplink is positioning itself not only as a passive holder but also as an active contributor to the security of the Ethereum network and long-term adoption.
