Bo Hines Steps Down from White House Crypto Committee Role
Bo Hines, who served nearly seven months as executive director of the White House crypto committee, has officially resigned, opening a new chapter in his career. Hines shared that he has received over 50 job offers, with five serious opportunities—all within the cryptocurrency industry—and confirmed he has no plans to return to politics.
During his tenure, Hines played a key role in advancing U.S. crypto policy, including the passage of a stablecoin bill and supporting multiple blockchain-related executive orders. While acknowledging that regulatory work is unfinished, he voiced optimism that Congress will finalize comprehensive crypto legislation. His former deputy, Patrick Witt, will now take over the position.$BTC
