The analyst accompanied his publication with the assertion that, in his opinion, the crypto community does not show enough optimism. It is worth remembering that, on August 12, the most recent CPI report was published in the U.S., revealing that July's inflation was lower than expected.
After the release of this data, the probability that the Fed will reduce the key interest rate in September 2025 increased to over 96%. These changes could enhance the investment appeal of high-risk assets like cryptocurrencies.
The Fed will consider the CPI information when deciding the rate in September, so many investors interpreted the report as a sign that a period of rate cuts is approaching.
