Bowmore to issue tokenized whisky on the Avalanche chain, priced at $5,500
BlockBeats news, on August 15, according to Crowdfundinsider, Scottish whisky maker Bowmore will issue tokenized limited edition whisky on the Avalanche chain, with the first 'Collector's Edition' priced at $5,500, and each bottle of whisky will be tied to an NFT. This whisky will make its debut at TOKEN2049 in Singapore on September 30, 2025, where the NFT can be exchanged for the physical product.
Bowmore is part of the Suntory Global Spirits Group and is one of the oldest whisky distilleries in Scotland. This marks the brand's first venture into the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA), providing collectors with a new way to interact.
