Coinbase releases a monthly outlook stating that the season is about to arrive.

I think Coinbase's perspective is still worth considering, much more reliable than those so-called Standard Chartered institutions. The common definition of that season is that at least 75% of the top 50 altcoins by market capitalization have outperformed BTC in the past 90 days.

This shouldn't be a problem because BTC has clearly been struggling to rise lately, and institutions and funds are embracing ETH. When funds feel that ETH is not cost-effective anymore, they will naturally flow towards the top 50 altcoins by market capitalization, and then the season we are familiar with will arrive.
