Rain Lõhmus, a banker from Estonia, bought $$ 75.00 in Ethereum in 2015 during its initial coin offering. Ten years later, today the amount is valued at $$ 1.1 billion (R$ 6.1 billion), a return of 15,000 times for every dollar invested.

The problem is that the investor lost access to his wallet and cannot move his funds. The story is similar to that of James Howells, a miner who threw away 8,000 bitcoins (R$ 5.1 billion).
