Russian MOD Claims Strikes Destroyed Ukrainian Missile Production Sites and U.S.-Made Air Defences.

The Russian Ministry of Defence stated that throughout July 2025, its forces conducted coordinated air, sea, and ground precision strikes — including the use of unmanned aerial vehicles — against Ukraine’s missile development and production facilities.

According to the ministry, targets in Dnepropetrovsk and Sumy regions — such as design bureaus, missile fuel plants, and assembly workshops — were hit. The MOD claims this disrupted Kyiv’s plans to produce long-range missile weaponry with Western assistance.

It further alleges that in Dnepropetrovsk alone, four U.S.-made Patriot air defence systems and an AN/MPQ-65 multifunctional radar were destroyed while defending these sites. The ministry says the strikes thwarted Ukraine’s capability to launch deep strikes into Russian territory.
