📌 TP, SL & Crypto Basics for Beginners – Don’t Trade Blind!
If you’re just stepping into the crypto world, you’ve probably heard terms like TP and SL being thrown around. Let’s break them down simply so you don’t lose your shirt (or your entire wallet).
1️⃣ TP – Take Profit
This is where you set your “cash out” point before greed kicks in.
Example: You bought Bitcoin at $60K and your TP is $62K. When the price hits $62K, you sell automatically and lock in your gains.
2️⃣ SL – Stop Loss
This is your “safety net” to avoid big losses.
Example: Bought at $60K but set your SL at $58K. If the market dips to $58K, your position closes, saving you from a bigger drop.
3️⃣ Position Sizing
Never throw your whole balance into one trade. Use risk management — usually 1–5% of your portfolio per trade.
4️⃣ DYOR – Do Your Own Research
Don’t buy just because someone on X (Twitter) said “🚀”. Check charts, news, and fundamentals.
5️⃣ Emotions = Enemy
Fear & greed kill more portfolios than bear markets. Stick to your plan — your TP & SL are your trading GPS.
💡 Pro Tip: Before you even buy, know where you’ll take profit and where you’ll cut losses. The market moves fast, and hesitation is expensive.
Trade smart. Survive first, thrive later. 🚀
