ARK Invest founder and CEO Cathie Wood stated in a recent interview that they are observing and cautiously guiding clients into this ecosystem.
While Bitcoin (BTC) remains the core asset of their portfolio, altcoins like Ethereum (ETH) and Solana have become an important part of their investment strategy. In the past, ARK had a higher allocation in Solana, but as Ethereum's performance surpassed that of Solana, ARK adjusted its strategy to increase investments in Ethereum.
Wood revealed that ARK Invest will launch a bi-monthly report focusing on analyzing on-chain data for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and altcoins like Solana, helping investors understand the signal characteristics of these assets. She pointed out that the transparency and verifiability of blockchain technology give it a unique position in crypto assets, which traditional stock and bond markets cannot provide. As altcoins develop, their appeal to institutional investors continues to grow.
