CoinWorld reported that the National Cryptocurrency Association (NCA) of the United States announced the establishment of its first Advisory Council. The newly appointed members of the Advisory Council are distinguished leaders from the fields of finance, regulation, and education, who will leverage their extensive experience to guide the organization in fulfilling its mission and promoting cryptocurrency knowledge across the nation. The members of the Advisory Council include: Chris Giancarlo - former Chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), author of (CryptoDad - The Fight for the Future of Money) (Wiley, 2022), Jo Ann Barefoot - co-founder and CEO of the Alliance for Innovative Regulation (AIR), senior fellow at Harvard Kennedy School's Center for Business and Government (honorary retired), former partner at KPMG, and member of the FinTech Hall of Fame, Dr. Campbell Harvey - Professor of Finance at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, researcher at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), and former president of the American Finance Association.
