#ETHRally 5K is close. Would ETH face resistance at its ATH levels?
This week has been uninterrupted, with an smooth advance from $3300 to $4700 without major setbacks (at least not noticeable ones).
It is beautiful and all, but I cannot help but feel is too good to be true.
The market shifted from being fatalistic about Ethereum after the Debacle in March, to be overoptimistic over its prospects.
The conditions are somewhat but fundamentally different now that there is official/formal recognizion of crypto as an investment/asset class. Yet, it will only take doubt to set in, after an scandal or financial distress, for the prices to face serious corrections.
What will happen to the prices when all parties are finished buying?
Low volatility might ensue, but that is the calm before the storm.
SO I REMIND MYSELF:
GAINS ARE NOT REAL UNTIL THEY ARE REALIZED.
One can ride the trend longer, but do not forget that one must at least take partial gains
Otherwise, you are facing the same risk as perpetual holders: large drawdowns.
ETH is promising as an ecosystem, but as an investment, the approach is different. Do you think BlackRock™ or GreyScale are buying just to trade, to use or to hold them?.
