Ratan Tata (December 28, 1937 – October 9, 2024) was an iconic Indian industrialist and philanthropist who served as chairman of the Tata Group from 1991–2012 and again from 2016–2017. Under his visionary leadership, the Mumbai-based conglomerate expanded its global footprint, becoming one of India’s most influential business houses.

Beyond boardrooms, Tata’s impact was felt through his deep commitment to philanthropy, uplifting millions of lives across education, healthcare, and rural development.
