In Lahore, Pakistan, a young man called the police and claimed he had been robbed on the roadside. He said thieves had taken all his money.
The police opened an investigation. After checking the details, they found no evidence of a robbery. During questioning, the young man admitted the story was fake.
It was found that He had actually lost the moneyโabout PKR 1.5 million (โ USD 5,282)โby trading crypto futures. He was addicted to trading.
That money had been sent by his brothers to their father to cover Hajj expenses. He made up the robbery to hide his trading losses from his family.
The funny thing is I just saw the screenshots of his trading๐ He was trading on other platform and was using 500x laverage to trade bitcoin perpetual.
