Co-founder of one of the largest private banks in Estonia, LHV Bank, Rein Lokmus lost access to a cryptocurrency wallet with #Ethereum worth $1.16 billion at the current exchange rate ($4600), reports RBC. In 2015, he spent $75,000 on cryptocurrency during the initial coin offering (ICO) at a price of about 30 cents, but later lost the key to the wallet. In 2023, Lokmus stated that he could not recover access. According to him, in the mid-2010s, hardware wallets were not yet widely available, and concerns about the secure storage of digital assets hardly worried anyone.$XRP$BNB$BTC
