U.S. stock indexes opened higher
At the opening of the U.S. stock market, the Dow rose 0.4%, the S&P 500 index rose 0.3%, and the Nasdaq Composite index rose 0.38%. Data center operator Coreweave (CRWV.O) fell over 10%, with adjusted net losses in Q2 significantly widening to $130.8 million. AMD (AMD.O) rose 3.5%, while Nvidia (NVDA.O) fell 0.4%.
The S&P 500 index opened on August 13 (Wednesday) up 19.94 points, an increase of 0.31%, at 6465.76 points;
The Nasdaq Composite index opened on August 13 (Wednesday) up 91.86 points, an increase of 0.42%, at 21773.77 points;
The Dow Jones index opened on August 13 (Wednesday) up 208.06 points, an increase of 0.47%, at 44666.67 points.
