💬 Is it advisable to buy when the entire market is in the green?

This is one of the questions I get asked the most:

“Franco, today all the cryptos are rising... should I buy now or wait?”

The short answer is: it depends on your strategy and your investment horizon.

📌 What “everything is green” means

When we see that most cryptocurrencies are rising at the same time, we are usually in a moment of high euphoria.

This can be a signal of:

• A strong momentum that could continue.

• Or a temporary rise before a correction.

In crypto, the second happens more often than we think.

🔍 How your investment horizon influences

1️⃣ If your outlook is short-term (trading):

• Buying in the middle of a rally increases the risk of entering at a high price and the price correcting quickly.

• The ideal is to wait for pullbacks, support zones, or clear confirmations before entering.

• If you still want to enter, do it with a small percentage and set a clear exit plan.

2️⃣ If your outlook is long-term (holding):

• If the project is solid and you believe in it for the long term, the exact moment of entry is less important.

• You can buy in the green if you see that the overall trend remains bullish, but it's still advisable to scale purchases to average prices and not invest everything at once.

💡 My way of acting on green days:

1. I never invest everything → If the market is in the green, I use between 10% and 30% of the capital I planned to invest.

2. I maintain liquidity in $USDT → This gives me room to buy in future dips.

3. I look at supports and resistances → If it's close to a resistance, I prefer to wait for a pullback or confirmation.

🎯 Real example

In June, with $SOL rising strongly, I only entered with 20% of what I planned to invest.

A week later, it corrected and I was able to complete the purchase at a better price.

This reduced my average price and my risk.
