BlockBeats reported on August 13 that Gate Ventures announced a joint initiative with Solana Superteam UK and the Cambridge Blockchain Society to launch a cutting-edge Web3 (Open-web) & AI program aimed at promoting academic exploration in the field of blockchain and artificial intelligence integration, supporting and nurturing a new generation of forward-thinking innovators.
The program will provide funding support ranging from $100,000 to $1 million for higher education projects, including those at the University of Cambridge, along with guidance from industry mentors and deep integration with Solana ecosystem resources. Supported by leading industry institutions, this program will accelerate the implementation and development of research-driven projects such as blockchain infrastructure, decentralized finance (DeFi), and AI applications built on the Solana network.
