One thing you must learn in a bull market: position management, or the bull market will wash you out.
In a bull market, everyone thinks making money is easy—prices rise every day, good news is everywhere, and those fully invested seem to be riding a rocket.
But the only people who truly come out of a bull market are those who know how to manage their positions.
I've seen too many disasters.
Some people play short-term like it's long-term, and when prices drop, they don't stop loss, ending up trapped halfway up the mountain;
Others play long-term like it's short-term, dumping everything after a brief rise, only to watch it multiply several times and never be able to buy back.
The iron rule of short-term trading: run when there's a profit, withdraw when there's a risk, and always mechanically execute stop-loss and take-profit. You came to speculate, not to be buried.
The iron rule of long-term trading: first set goals and expectations, especially with low-cost chips, not every day is a bull run, there will definitely be a phase of consolidation and shaking out, enduring it will lead to great heights.
Remember a psychological trap:
If you bought ETH for $2000 and sold it for $2500, then it rises to $3000, even if you know it can rise further, it's hard to re-enter because your brain will refuse to buy at a price higher than your selling price.
So, short-term is short-term, long-term is long-term—never confuse the two.
My method is simple: split positions into 7 long and 3 short. Long-term coins must be held until they double, after recovering the principal, profits can be held through a bull market; short-term only focuses on hot trends, always follow stop-loss and take-profit.
Even in a bull market, never be fully invested; being fully invested is the beginning of passivity.
The mindset in a bull market should be a bit blurry—afraid of missing out? Just buy a small position first to feel the market; it’s better to be slightly trapped than to never get on board.
There are plenty of opportunities in a bull market; what’s lacking is the rhythm. Position management is the metronome that keeps you alive in a bull market.
Opportunities in the crypto sphere are never lacking; what’s lacking is whether you can control your hands and see the situation clearly.
Most people are not moving fast enough; they are just stumbling around in the dark.
Rhythm is the light; direction is the road. If you follow the right people, you'll find that the night is not that long.
