According to Foresight News, Curve Finance has announced the fifth anniversary of CRV, highlighting a reduction in its inflation rate to 5.02%. As per Curve's hardcoded issuance plan, the CRV issuance rate decreases every August. The last reduction took effect on August 12, 2024. The new CRV generation rate has decreased from approximately 137.4 million CRV per year (around 4.36 CRV per second) to about 115.5 million CRV per year (around 3.66 CRV per second).
As of today, all vested CRV, including allocations for the team, investors, and early user incentives, have been fully distributed. Moving forward, the only CRV entering circulation will be through measured weighted issuance.
