BitMine Boosts Ethereum Holdings
BitMine Immersion Technologies now holds 1,150,263 ETH, worth $4.96B. Last week, they bought 317,000 ETH, bringing their stash to 1% of all ETH in circulation — the largest Ether treasury in the world and #3 overall in crypto.
On August 12, BitMine filed to expand its stock sale program by $20B, giving it $24.5B total to raise. The money will go toward buying even more ETH, aiming to own 5% of the total supply.
The company, led by Tom Lee (Fundstrat co-founder), is now one of the most traded stocks, with $2.2B in daily volume.
