In Brazil, senators request the creation of a commission to investigate influencers following Felca's complaint about adultification
Recently, a piece of content titled "Adultification", published by the influencer and YouTuber Felipe Bressanim, known as Felca, which denounces cases of alleged exposure of children and adolescents on the internet, triggered a reaction from Brazilian senators who filed a formal request this week for the creation of a CPI (Parliamentary Inquiry Commission) aimed at investigating the conduct of digital influencers who produce content deemed inappropriate or abusive involving minors.
The video, lasting about an hour, released last Thursday (7), has already surpassed 31 million views in just five days. In it, Felca makes direct criticisms of the influencer from Paraíba, Hytalo Santos, and other Brazilian content creators, provoking a strong national repercussion and reaching the political sphere.
According to the portal Leo Dias, the request, signed by Damares Alves (Republicanos/DF) and Jaime Bagattoli (PL/RO), also aims to analyze the relationship between this type of production and child sexual exploitation, assess the effectiveness of protective measures in the digital environment, and demand responses from authorities regarding reports of online abuse.
