He mentioned having a good relationship with them and with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Trump also expressed frustration with Zelenskyy's approach, particularly with the idea of a "land swap" as part of a peace deal. He said he was "bothered" that Zelenskyy claimed he needed constitutional approval for a land swap, but not to go to war. Trump believes there will be some land swapping as part of a complex agreement that will have both good and bad parts for both sides. He added that the next meeting would be between Zelenskyy and Putin, and that he would be there if needed.
