I wasn't born to make money.
I've lost money, experienced setbacks, and been so miserable that I questioned my life.
Sometimes, when I see those newbies chasing rising and falling profits, all-in,
I really want to say this:
"Don't be too confident. I'm more experienced at losing money than you are."
I used to be the same:
Chasing the gains
Holding on to the losses, never taking stop-loss orders
Unwilling to accept a break-up, borrowing money to increase my position
Daily dreaming of "the next trade to turn things around," only to lose more and more
My account went from 700,000 to just 5,000
The day I remember most vividly is:
At 3 a.m., staring at the screen, watching the final liquidation.
My heart skipped a beat, my head pounded, and my account was wiped out.
You can't understand that kind of despair unless you've experienced it.
Later, I realized:
The market is never short of opportunities.
What's lacking is your system, your rhythm, and your execution.
If you don't control your positions, the market will teach you a lesson.
If you don't manage risk, the market will take your money.
If you don't understand the rhythm, the ups and downs are a road to financial ruin.
Now, I no longer rely on gambling to make a living:
I have a plan for every trade.
I have take-profit and stop-loss orders, and I control my positions.
I'm not led by my emotions.
I can afford to lose, hold on, and make steady profits.
I'm steady not because I'm smart,
but because—
I've suffered losses you haven't,
shed blood you haven't shed,
and seen abysses you can't imagine.
If you still want to rely on luck,
just wait for the next blowup.
If you want to break out of the losing cycle,
then learn from someone who has truly crawled out of the carnage.
I only work with those who truly want to change.
