Rs 57 Lakh Crypto Scam: 5 Arrested
Delhi Police have achieved success in busting a gang accused of defrauding an amount of Rs 57 lakhs, using a fake cryptocurrency deal as a cover on Thursday. There are five gang members who have been arrested by Delhi Police on charges of duping an individual of a huge amount.
Delhi Police have shared information regarding the case through a post on their official X account. According to police, the complainant had approached the Karol Bagh Police Station on 30 June, 2025. He informed the police about how he had been duped and scammed.
According to him, the accused had collected cash worth Rs.57 lakh from him and promised to transfer it back as USDT. Later, when no USDT was received, the victim approached the police.
