PANews, August 11 - According to Reuters, the American video platform and cloud service provider Rumble is considering acquiring the German artificial intelligence cloud group Northern Data for approximately $1.17 billion. Rumble stated that if the deal goes through, it will gain control of Northern Data's cloud computing business Taiga and large data center division Ardent, and plans to integrate them into its own operations. According to Reuters' calculations, the potential total value of the transaction is about $1.17 billion. Northern Data stated that its board is evaluating Rumble's potential acquisition offer and is open to further discussions. In addition, the stablecoin platform Tether, a major shareholder of Northern Data, has expressed support for the transaction.
