🫆The Satoshi Mystery: 12 Years Since Hal Finney’s Final Bitcoin Post🔍

Today marks 12 years since Hal Finney, a key figure in Bitcoin’s early days and a top candidate for being Satoshi Nakamoto, made his final post on the Bitcoin forum. Finney, an American software developer, was the first to receive a $BTC transaction from Satoshi and played a pivotal role in Bitcoin’s development. Despite battling ALS, he remained active in the community until his last post in August 2013, before passing away on August 28, 2014.

Pete Rizzo, a $BTC historian, commemorated the moment, tweeting: “12 years ago today, Hal Finney made his final post on the Bitcoin forum before logging off forever. Gone but not forgotten.”

The mystery of Satoshi Nakamoto’s true identity remains unsolved. Finney, who was among the first to run Bitcoin’s software, always denied being Satoshi. Since Satoshi’s last email in April 2011, stating they had “moved on to other things,” the creator’s identity continues to elude the crypto world.

Who do you think Satoshi Nakamoto really is?
