In the world of P2P, there are increasingly creative scams.
One of the most dangerous is the so-called "payment for canceled order".

Here's how it works:
The scammer initiates a P2P transaction to buy cryptocurrency from you.

They make a payment to your bank account, but then cancel the order on the platform.

Since the order is canceled, there is no backing or protection from the platform, but the money is already in your account.

This payment often comes from a stolen or fraudulent account, so the bank may reverse it, leaving you without the money or the crypto.

Keys to protect yourself:

Never release crypto outside of the official order.

Only trust payments linked to active transactions.

If you receive a payment outside of the platform, notify support before making any moves.

The trap is that the payment seems legitimate… but as there is no active order, the platform cannot help you.
