Leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan on Friday in Washington, with the participation of U.S. President Donald Trump, signed a declaration on peaceful relations between their countries.
The text of the declaration states that Aliyev, Pashinyan, and Trump, after initialing the Agreement on Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia, "recognized the necessity of continuing additional steps for the signing and subsequent ratification of the Agreement, and emphasized the importance of ensuring and strengthening peace between our countries."
