The decentralized storage DeFi project CrediX was exploited for $4.5 million on August 4 and is now suspected of fraud and fleeing, as its website is unavailable and social media accounts are inactive.
According to CertiK, the attacker exploited admin privileges to mint unsupported tokens and withdraw funds, with part of the stolen assets later converted to Ethereum.
