😨 Another Rug Pull? CrediX Disappears After $4.5M Hack

On August 4, the Solana-based DeFi platform CrediX was exploited—hackers gained admin access, minted unbacked tokens, and drained around $4.5 million before transferring it through Tornado Cash and bridging to Ethereum.

CrediX promised funds would be returned within 24–48 hours, even hinting at an agreement—or "successful parley"—with the exploiter.

Instead, by August 8, the team had gone completely silent. Their website, X (Twitter), and Telegram vanished—raising alarms across the crypto community.

Exit scam or failed recovery? Either way, this vanishing act hits hard—leaving users in limbo and highlighting the risks of trust-based DeFi governance.
