Deep Tide TechFlow News, on August 8th, according to The Miner Mag, the American Bitcoin mining company CleanSpark disclosed in its Q2 2025 financial report that the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) accused the company of importing some Bitcoin mining machines between April and June 2024 as being of Chinese origin, requiring back payment of tariffs. If the CBP's accusations are upheld, CleanSpark expects to face tariff expenses of up to $185 million (excluding statutory interest). CleanSpark stated that it will strongly contest the claims, asserting that its import documents and hardware suppliers can confirm that the equipment is not made in China.
